Agate is a form of amorphous quartz, a relatively common, hard and durable gemstone, but most often treated to take a uniform color, like ‘Black Onyx’ that is dyed to a deep black color.

The Agate drops, mined in Montana, USA, are entirely natural/untreated, and show a fascinating play of colors in shades of ivory, cream, cognac, and a deep chocolate brown, with specks of jet-black….no dyes, no heat treatment, just how mother nature made them.

We mounted these special American gemstones on sleek platinum ear wires (allowing the Agate drops to gently move…), hand forged by our master goldsmith, and accented with extra-fine Canadian diamonds.

Metal: Platinum

Center stones: Natural, untreated Agate from Montana, USA. Smoothly polished drops, drilled. 4.39 ct + 4.31 ct = 8.70 ct total weight.

Accent stones: 18 round brilliant cut diamonds, F+ color, VS-VVS clarity. Total diamond weight: 0.16 ctw. These diamonds are exclusively of Canadian origin (“Canadamark”).
