We make custom jewelry only with stones purchased from us. We specialize in handmade rings, pendants, and earrings crafted in platinum or 18K white, yellow or rose gold.
Our signature jewelry products are completely hand fabricated, using traditional European goldsmithing techniques. The result are incredibly smooth, clean and durable pieces of jewelry, made to last not for years, but centuries. These styles are typically quite labor intensive, and all work is done here in Manhattan, by our master goldsmith with four decades of experience. If you buy a fine gemstone from us, we are able to include such a handmade masterpiece at a very competitive package rate.
For designs that require lots of elaborate detail or very organic, flowing shapes (often for jewelry inspired by nature…) we use lost wax casting based on hand carved wax models – an ancient art form we are only too happy to keep alive! It is a fascinating process, and some of the most special jewelry we ever created was made this way. We would love to explain the process to you in detail when you place your bespoke jewelry order.
Ordering bespoke jewelry can be very exciting, and there are many details to be considered for the perfect design. If you want to take a very active role throughout the design process and have maximum control over small details, we suggest casting based on a computer modeled “CAD” design – we will prepare detailed 3D renderings for you and you will be able to request adjustments to the design until you are absolutely happy with every little aspect of it. While computer-designed, even this process involves a lot of traditional goldsmithing labor for finishing work post-casting. Please ask and we will be happy to explain in detail.
All this work is done in Manhattan, New York. We never use pre-made jewelry parts from overseas factories. Even small accessories that are typically not handmade, such as earring posts or clasps and locks, are always made to a high standard, here in the USA or in Europe.
