A playful yet classic design with a nod to Victorian era ‘snake’ jewelry, this 18K gold ring is set with a rare, highly collectible ‘trapiche’ emerald from Colombia, complete with a GIA report attesting to its high quality (“transparent”). Trapiche emeralds are quite uncommon in this gem-grade quality, and a round example that received only ‘F1’ (= minor) treatment is exceptional. The hand-carved, textured gold is finished with alternating matte and high-polish finish. With its solid weight of more than 16 gram, it feels simply fabulous on the hand!
