Baroque in shape and with some imperfections, these pearls are much more affordable than most natural saltwater pearls in the market...and this strand is large in size! Classic 'matinee length' at 24 inches, with the largest pearls measuring more than 8 mm in diameter. The most remarkable feature of these pearls is the excellent quality of the pearl nacre, with strong luster and orient overtones shimmering in the colors of the rainbow. These antique pearls have been fitted with a retro-style 18K white gold and pearl clasp around 1940.
