It is a touch lighter in tone than the more well-known ‘Royal blue’, but with more depth to the color than the typical ‘Cornflower blue’. This 3.20 ct sapphire from Ceylon/Sri Lanka is what we consider a fine example of Peacock blue and as such, a highly collectible gemstone!
